- Strong partnership with the Pediatric Cardiology program
- 80 adult critical care beds (4 total critical care units)
- 722 total bed adult hospital
- 24,000 outpatient visits, 2,400 admissions, 240 congenital surgeries, 3,300 interventional cardiology cases, 14,400 echocardiograms
- Case volume well above ACGME required numbers in congenital echocardiography, TEE, EP studies, adult congenital cardiac catheterization, and congenital CT surgery
- Mississippi’s only Adult Congenital Heart Disease outpatient clinic
- Referrals of all levels of complexity are sent from around the state
- All Adult and Pediatric cardiac subspecialties are represented
- Strong faculty mentoring program which can tailor your training towards academics or private practice
- Comprehensive didactic conference schedule and professional development opportunities
- Call coverage is compliant with ACGME-mandated duty hours; adequate time for research is provided
